Mission:
Lifted out of Poverty (Loop) is an organization committed to ending the cycle of poverty for girls by creating positive and productive new cycles.  

Vision

Our mission is deeply rooted in the belief that through establishing a safe, trusting environment which allows girls access to a wide variety of mentored experiences,  a commitment to school, community, family and self will ensue.  Girls will build lifelong bonds and establish a support system in which they can rely.  As the program grows, senior girls will mentor the junior members.   

 

We have received our not-for profit status and currently have ten mentees- two distance mentees (they moved in the summer of 2018-19) and eight enrolled at Massena Central School.

Our long range goals are to provide this program for neighboring districts or help the districts set this program up, and also to extend this program to males as well as females.
